How to join the meeting?

Prerequisites:

  1. The client device (PC, laptop or mobile phone) must be equipped with a camera and microphone.
  2. It should have an internet connection with good bandwidth.
  3. It should have one of the following browsers: Google Chrome (version 75 and above), Chromium or the latest Microsoft Edge which is based on Chromium.

Follow the steps given below to join the meeting:

  1. In the home page, enter the meeting ID, password, name of the participant and his/her organisation, and click "Join the Meeting".
  2. On successful authentication, you will be redirected to the virtual VC room.
  3. Permit the webpage to show notifications when prompted.
  4. Mobile users must choose one of the following options:
    1. Launch in web - Use this option to join the meeting through the browser. (preferable)
    2. Join this meeting using the app - If option (a) fails, join the meeting through Jitsi app.
    3. Download the app - Use this option to install Jitsi mobile app.
  5. Permit the webpage to access the mic and camera when prompted.
  6. If you see the message 'Waiting for the host', request the meeting co-ordinator to host the meeting.
